Convenient large pack: makes more than 800 g gluten-free rusks so you can fill that cookie jar.
Just add 1 egg, buttermilk and butter (or oil) according to the instructions.
(Soya or dairy milk with lemon juice can be used instead of buttermilk.)
Add nuts, seeds, berries, choc-chips or dried fruit as desired.
Old Granny's Buttermilk Rusks are similar to those rusks that Ouma makes. Delicious and super easy. Even gluten-eaters enjoy them.
- Gluten-free (formulation tested and suitable for coeliacs) and the packed contents are free from dairy, soya and egg. Recipe instructions: uses either dairy or soya.
- Vegan if egg-replacer is used.
- Contains no xanthan or guar gum. Cellulose gum is used as it is "Generally Recognised as Safe" by the FDA.
- Contains no preservatives, colourants or flavourings.
INGREDIENTS:
Tapioca starch, rice flour, sugar (sucrose), potato starch, sodium bicarbonate (E500), corn starch, raising agents [E450(a) & E341], salt, cellulose gum.
ALLERGENS:
1. Corn (corn starch contained in baking powder)
May contain traces of nuts.
